Miley Cyrus says she knows Nick Jonas wrote "Wedding Bells" about her.

Liam Hemsworth is apparently not happy about Nick Jonas' new song, "Wedding Bells." While Nick has yet to comment on the subject matter, the song may well be about his ex (and Liam's current fiancee), Miley Cyrus.

Nick's song talks about how a former flame is getting married, and how he would just like one more shot with her. The lyrics also mention how their anniversary falls "11 nights into June." (Miley and Nick had met June 11, 2006.)

According to an insider, Liam is not a fan of the song. "Liam, I know he's not too thrilled with the song and I know he doesn't like it. Not that he doesn't like them as artists or anything, he just doesn't like the song. He's not a fan of the song and I don't blame him one bit."

Is Liam overreacting? Here's a look at both sides of the argument.

Team Nick

Ironically, Nick's biggest defender right now seems to be Miley herself. As she explains, "Like I said, everyone has to write songs that are about things that they felt and he even introduced that this isn't the way that I am. So, you can't ever hate on someone for writing about something you've been through. I think that you kind of get a fair warning when you date an artist and someone that's a writer-when you're going through things that you're going to end up hearing about it on the radio."

She has a point. Artists are often able to make music by drawing from personal experiences. Clearly, Liam has never dated Taylor Swift!

Celebrities understand that their lives are always subject to public scrutiny. Liam knew this going into his relationship with Miley. So he can't fault Nick for singing about a past relationship.

Team Liam

On the other hand, Nick was one the who broke Miley's heart in the first place. Why can't he just let her move on and be happy with Liam instead of throwing this kind of curve ball?

Of course, the whole "Wedding Bells" song may well be a publicity stunt to appeal to the "Team Niley" fans who still wish that these former lovebirds would reunite.

Should Liam be upset about the subject matter of the song? Or should Nick be free to sing about his former flame?
