Lance Bass is engaged!
On Sunday, omg! reported that the former 'N Sync member proposed to his boyfriend, Michael Turchin.
As an insider commented, "They're such a great couple, everyone is so happy for them. Their friends and family are thrilled."
Lance and the aspiring model/actor have been dating since December 2011. Before popping the question, the boy bander texted Michael's parents to ask their permission. How very old-school (sort of)!
While Lance is happily engaged to his gorgeous hubby-to-be, here's a look at what the other 'N Sync members are up to as far as relationships.
On August 28, Joey decided to clear the air about some hurtful rumors about his personal life. Despite reports that he and his wife, Kelly Baldwin, have been secretly separated since February, he told Omg! Insider that he and Kelly are still very happily married.
The "Dancing With the Stars" alum also suggested that the hype surrounding the VMA 'N Sync reunion contributed to the rumors. "When you're on top, people try to knock you down. Things start to get above, 'Let's make something up, let's screw with the media, let's throw things out there,' you know? And that's how it kind of went down."
When J.T. married Jessica Biel in October 2012, rumors circulated that he only invited former band mates, J.C. Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick to the wedding, while snubbing Lance and Joey. There were also rumors of a feud between J.T. and Lance. However, Access Hollywood dismissed those reports as speculation.
Less than a week after J.T. and Jessica got married, Chris and his girlfriend, Karla Skladany got engaged in Italy. Although he hadn't initially planned on proposing, the romantic vacation atmosphere inspired him to take the plunge, as TV Guide reported.
As Chris explained, "We were sitting on the balcony with a bottle of champagne and I put the ring in her glass. I know it sounds cheesy, but it was romantic. As soon as I asked her, she said, 'It's about time!' And we laughed. It was spur of the moment, but it was absolutely perfect."
There is very little information out there about J.C.'s current relationship status. However, in September 2012, he appeared on the "Today Show's" dating game where he represented part of People Magazine's list of Most Eligible Bachelors.
When the bachelorette asked him what musical instrument he would be, J.C. responded, "I'd be a 3-piece band. I've got a lot going on."
