Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga was a guest on Howard Stern's Sirius/XM show Monday morning and dished on everything from her music to her cocaine-filled past. Of course, the sexy singer dished on sex, too -- but, instead of talking about her sex life, she told young people to wait.

"You should wait as long as you can to have sex, because as a woman, you don't even begin to enjoy it until your mid-twenties. When you're 17, you don't even know how to operate what's going on down there and you shouldn't try," Gaga said.

Her Stern words echoed what she said in 2010 at an event.

"I can't believe I'm saying this -- don't have sex. It's not really cool any more to have sex all the time. It's cooler to be strong and independent," she said. "It's OK not to have sex, it's OK to get to know people. I'm celibate, celibacy's fine."

The "Born This Way" singer is hardly the first celebrity to dish on sexual matters, but many talk about waiting for sex for other reasons than Gaga's.

Adriana Lima

Gorgeous Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima is a wife and a mother now, but she waited to have sex until she was hitched.

"Sex is for after marriage," the Brazilian told GQ. "[Men] have to respect that this is my choice. If there's no respect, that means they don't want me."

The Jonas Brothers

Many Disney stars talk about waiting until marriage for sex -- Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus are two big examples -- but we really believed the Jonas Brothers when they said they'd wait. The trio even wore purity rings to commit themselves to it, though Kevin Jonas doesn't wear his anymore (he's married.) We're not so sure about Nick and Joe anymore, either. Nick's been linked to older lady love Delta Goodrem, while Joe has played the field with everyone from Taylor Swift to Ashley Greene.

Bristol Palin

Sarah Palin's eldest daughter is one of today's most famous faces of abstinence. The "Dancing With the Stars" runner-up is a spokesperson for the cause and makes oodles of bucks talking about her story.

"Regardless of what I did personally, I just think that abstinence is the only way that you can effectively, uh, full proof way to prevent pregnancy -- I just wanna go out there and promote abstinence," the mother of Tripp said in an interview.

Jordin Sparks

Former "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks is known for her views on abstinence '" and she even put Russell Brand on blast at the 2008 MTV Music Awards for his comments about sex.

"I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It's not bad to wear a promise ring, because not everybody -- guy or girl -- wants to be a slut," Sparks said on stage.

She later added to that in an Entertainment Weekly interview.

"It's something I feel strongly about," she said. "I wish I would've worded it differently '" that somebody who doesn't wear a promise ring isn't necessarily a slut -- but I can't take it back now. It was a split-second thing, and it came out kind of wrong. Still, I don't regret it."
