Prepare to be really grossed out. Lady Gaga got puked on while performing her song "Swine" on the Doritos #BoldStage at the SXSW music festival on Thursday, March 13. The person doing the puking wasn't just a drunk concertgoer, though -- it was vomit painter Millie Brown, and she was part of Gaga's wild, provocative show. See more recent photos of Gaga here.
As seen in video of the concert, Gaga kneeled mid-song next to Brown, who then stuck her finger down her throat and threw up a slimy green substance all over the "Applause" singer. Gaga later removed the white apron she was wearing at the time, but she performed the rest of the concert covered in puke.
Not that she was clean to begin with. "I've been having such a good time, I didn't even shower!" she said at the start of her concert, per Billboard. "I've been drinking a lot and eating. Are you f---ing hungry? I've been having such a good time hearing music, I forgot to do everything this week!"
Later, she added, "Let's f---ing celebrate! This is the moment now! I won't play by your f---ing rules. This is our world!"
Not playing by the rules seemed to be a theme for Gaga's hour-long set, which featured performances of "Bad Romance," "Applause," "Manicure," "Swine," and other ARTPOP songs. At one point, she urged audience members to put down their camera phones. "F--k your cell phone. F--k your friends instead!" she yelled.
She also opened up about her insecurities. "Sometimes, guys, when you're not yourself it's so much harder. It's so much easier to be yourself than it is to be somebody else," she told the crowd before singing "Dope." "When you have to pretend to be somebody else you do things you don't wanna do. It eats your soul inside and makes you do stupid s--t. I wrote this song for all the things I'm sorry for. I'm so sorry to myself, that I don't always be myself. But I'm gonna be myself today."
