Lady Gaga Cancels Remainder Of Tour, Will Need Surgery

Lady Gaga's remaining "Born This Way Ball" tour dates have been canceled.

Live Nation Global Touring confirmed the cancellation of the remainder of the trek due to Gaga's medical condition.

"After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip," Live Nation said in a statement.

According to Live Nation, Gaga's medical condition is so serious, she will undergo surgery.

"She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour so she can heal," the statement continued.

Refunds for the canceled performances will be available beginning on Thursday.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com , Gaga Tweeted on Tuesday evening that she was postponing several dates on the "Born This Way Ball" tour over severe swelling of her joints.
