Yahoo Contributor Network

Unless you've been living under a rock it's hard not to notice Kristen Wiig. The "Saturday Night Live" comedian has extended her fame to last longer than just a New York minute. Between having a huge hit with her movie "Bridesmaids" and leaving "SNL" this year we're curious to see where this funny babe is headed. Is she planning on doing more movies? Starring in a sitcom? Taking a break? Here's what we found out.

2013 Will Be the Year of Kristen Wiig

Kristen is set to star in 2012's "Imogene" with Annette Bening but 2013 is looking like Kristen's major year in Hollywood. The blonde actress is set to release FOUR movies next year. Yup, FOUR movies. When does she ever take a break? Her slated releases include, "Despicable Me 2," "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," "Freezing People is Easy," and "The Comedian."

"The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" looks like it will be a big hit. The film is directed by comedian heavy weight Ben Stiller who also stars in the film alongside Sean Penn. It didn't take Kristen very long to go from doing skits on stage to starring next to major A-list celebrities.

She's Becoming a Cover Girl

Kristen delighted her fans by scoring the cover of Marie Claire's August 2012 issue. We're so used to seeing sexed up babes on the cover of magazines it was nice to see a down to earth, funny girl for once.

In the issue Kristen dished on what she went through leaving "SNL" after seven years and went on to proclaim she's happier than she's ever been. Rock on, Kristen! What other magazines do you hope to see Kristen on in 2012 and beyond?

She's in Love!

When Kristen was asked to elaborate on why she was so happy she said, "Where I am now. Who he is. Those are the two big ones." He, meaning the super hottie Brazilian drummer from The Strokes, Fabrizio Moretti. Even his name is sexy! Has Kristen finally found her perfect guy after having such a perfect career?
