Robert Pattinson is probably one famous guy who celebrity serial dater Taylor Swift won't pursue -- the pop princess is reportedly pals with Kristen Stewart!
According to Us Weekly, Kristen and another friend hung out at Taylor's house on Monday. The "Twilight" star and the "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together" singer reportedly spent all day with each other, so they must get along pretty well.
Frowny face fan K-Stew and bubbly blonde T-Swizzle might seem like an odd pair, but perhaps they bonded over their relationship woes. Kristen is currently taking a break from her relationship with R-Patz after weathering a cheating scandal, and Taylor is recovering from her split with One Direction singer Harry Styles.
Swift is also no stranger to scrutiny about her love life -- she's been criticized for using her songs to diss some of her celebrity exes, which include Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Joe Jonas, and Taylor Lautner. Swift and Stewart also share a link in Lautner. K-Stew's "Twilight" co-star is one of the few men to escape relatively unscathed after dating Swift, and "Taylor Squared" reportedly decided to stay friends after their split.
But while Taylor Swift and Kristen Stewart might not be such a mismatched pairing after all, there are plenty of other strange celebrity friends who have left us scratching our heads. Here's a look at some of the odd pals who have been raising eyebrows recently:
Robert Pattinson, Vince Vaughn, and Joaquin Phoenix
K-Stew's ex has also made some unlikely friends. Back in April, this scruffy trio was spotted dining together at the Larchmont restaurant in L.A., where they reportedly "looked like they were having a lot of fun." Perhaps Joaquin and Rob bonded over their love of scraggly-looking facial hair, and maybe 43-year-old Vince gave the 27-year-old "Twilight" star a little dating advice. There were rumors that "The Break-Up" star advised Rob to break up with Kristen, and it looks like Rob may have listened to his elder.
Chris Brown and Justin Bieber
Breezy and the Biebs raised a few eyebrows by posing for an Instagram photo recently, but the pair do share something special that probably makes them pretty good pals -- they've both endured plenty of public scrutiny. Brown might not seem like the best role model for Bieber, but he really does care about his pop star pal. Breezy said that he was praying for Justin during an interview with Power 105.1 FM's "The Breakfast Club," and he even dubbed the Biebs "Baby Elvis." The pair have apparently been pals for quite some time, because they also went to dinner together after the Billboard Awards last year.
Harry Styles and Ke$ha
Sorry, T-Swizzle -- Harry's texting a different blonde singer these days. At the MTV Movie Awards back in April, Ke$ha revealed that she and Taylor's One Direction ex have been exchanging text messages. The "Tik Tok" singer said that she hasn't sexted Styles yet, but she digs the young boy band member because he looks like a young Mick Jagger. However, Hazza might want to plan on keeping his relationship with the wild child platonic after hearing about her headdress made out of human teeth, the time she had sex with a ghost, and the time she drank her own urine.
So do you think these pairings of celebrity friends are super-strange, or do some of them sort of make sense?
