In an unaired clip from her new TV talk show, Kris Jenner suggested hanging out with the family has kept her kids out of hot water.

Coffee klatching on the set of "Kris," guest Ryan Seacrest said of Amanda Bynes, "You do hope that the right family or friends get to be around her and get her on track."

Jenner readily agreed. "It's all about the people you surround yourself with…. With my kids we just surround ourselves with each other because there's 52 of us -- and you." (Seacrest's company produces "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and is largely responsible for the family's fame.)

It's true the Jenner-Kardashian clan seems to spend more time bonding than the average family -- for one thing, they have a reality TV show that contractually commits them to hang out with each other. But have the children turned out as well as Kris implied?

Her most famous daughter Kim Kardashian launched her career with a leaked sex tape with rapper Ray J, and some allege she made a mockery of marriage by mega-hyping her wedding to Kris Humphries. The marriage lasted only 72 days.

In a recent survey of 2,407 parents with children over 8 years old, the Kimster landed third place on a list of the top 10 worst female role models, a group that included Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, Farrah Abraham, Rihanna, Ke$ha, Kim's older sister Kourtney Kardashian (in eighth place), Heidi Montag and Taylor Momsen.

Though the curvy brunette is a very successful businesswoman and new mommy to baby girl North West, her personal life remains rocky. Baby daddy Kanye West is reported to have a bit of a temper. Most recently he wrestled a paparazzo to the ground at an airport and took his camera.

Jenner has reportedly advised her daughter not to rush into marriage with the rapper. "After Kim's last 72-day marriage Kris feels like the Kardashian brand does not need another marriage disaster on its hands. She is telling them to take their time, to really think about it. A third divorce for Kim, is not something Kris wants for her daughter or her family business," a source reportedly told NaughtyButNiceRob.com.

Her advice may have as much to do with West's apparent disdain for her as her concern for the family's brand. In "Awesome," Kanye raps about Kim, "Cause baby, you're awesome/ You don't need to listen to your manager/ You're way too hot for them to handle you."

Meanwhile, daughter number three, Khloe Kardashian, is both on the verge of breaking up with her husband Lamar Odom and having a baby with him, depending on which reports you believe. The hoopster allegedly cheated on his wife with a stripper, causing her to kick him out of the house for a while. "This isn't the first time Khloe has heard that Lamar has been cheating," the stripper told Star magazine. "But she's torn. She doesn't trust him but she doesn't want to believe he cheats either. Still, she tossed him out of the house. And before that she kicked him into a separate bedroom."

Another family member, Kris's stepson Brody Jenner, has had long-festering issues with the 57-year-old wife of his Olympian dad. A recent episode of KUWTK showed the family vacationing in Greece, a trip on which Brody was not initially invited. "I don't feel you have ever given two f**ks about the way Brandon and I grew up," he told her. Later, talking directly to the camera, he painted Kris as a "villain" for keeping him away from his dad while he was growing up.

What do you think? Did Kris Jenner's kids fare better as a result of extreme family bonding, or have they had similar troubles to their celebrity peers? Weigh in below.
