Kris Humphries mocks Kanye West in tweet about re-signing with Brooklyn Nets

Kris Humphries may have been dumped by Kim Kardashian after just 72 days of marriage, but he’s having the last laugh – all the way to the bank and on Twitter. On Tuesday, the NBA forward tweeted his excitement about re-signing with the Brooklyn Nets for a two-year $24 million deal and also managed to work in a jab at his ex’s new boyfriend, Kanye West, who rapped about having his pal Jay-Z, part-owner of the basketball team, boot him from the squad in the song “Cold." “I'm up at Brooklyn! @S_C_ [Jay-Z’s twitter handle],” Humphries, 27, wrote and then included West’s lyric, "lucky I didn't have Jay drop [him] from the team" before ending it with “lol!”

Before Tuesday’s good news, it had been a rough few weeks for Humphries. A woman he supposedly dated, Myla Sinanaj, was claiming to be pregnant with his baby, but she has since denied the claim – but not before Kardashian’s legal team could subpoena her to testify in their divorce trial. They want to prove that Humphries wasn’t as heartbroken as he made himself out to be after he split from the reality star in October 2011 if he took up with someone so soon afterward.

Last week, Kardashian friend Kelly Osbourne reportedly had him kicked out of Beacher’s Madhouse in Los Angeles because she was “furious he was in there.” Although both Humphries and Jeff Beacher denied he was tossed, Osbourne continued to fuel the fire over Twitter. "Im creative director/business partners w/ @jeffbeacher,” she tweeted. “Beachers Madhouse is OUR club so I have the right to let in or deny anyone!”
