Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their child "North West."

According to reports, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their newborn baby girl ... North West.

Sources say the first time parents had trouble deciding on a name and will call the child Nori. Though she wasn't due until July, Kardashian gave birth on June 15 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. After spending several days in the hospital, Kim and Kanye finally took their baby home late Thursday night.

While baby Kimye might sport one of the most unusual names we've heard in a while, she isn't the only celebrity baby with a geography-inspired moniker. Here's a look at some other Tinseltown tots named after cities, towns, and countries.

State Names:

Actress Reese Witherspoon and hubby Jim Toth welcomed baby boy, Tennessee James, in September 2012. Witherspoon has two more children, daughter Ava and son Deacon, from her marriage to Ryan Phillippe.

"Before Midnight" star Ethan Hawke became a dad for the fourth time in 2011, when his wife Ryan delivered their baby girl, Indiana. The couple's first daughter, Clementine, arrived in 2008. Hawke also has two children with ex-wife Uma Thurman.

Former "Sopranos" star Drea de Matteo gave birth to her first child in 2007. She and longtime boyfriend, Shooter Jennings, picked the whimsical name "Alabama Gypsyrose" for their baby girl. The couple's second child, a son named Waylon Albert (called "Blackjack") arrived in April 2011.

"Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane and actress Rebecca Gayheart named their second daughter, born in December 2011, Georgia Geraldine. They aren't the only star couple who had Georgia on their mind. In 2002, Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy named their second child Georgia Grace.

City Names:

After struggling to conceive, "Desperate Housewives" actress Marcia Cross gave birth to twin girls in 2007, naming one Eden and the other Savannah.

Actress Eve Hewson, best known for her role in "The 27 Club," is the daughter of U2 rocker Bono and wife Ali Hewson. Born in 1991, her real name is Memphis Eve. Just last year, "Girls" star Jemima Kirke gave birth to a baby boy named Memphis, her second child with husband Michael Mosberg.

Some celebrity parents were in a New York state of mind when naming their offspring. David and Victoria Beckham named their first son Brooklyn James, while Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz named their son, Bronx Mowgli.

International Names:

In 2010, singer Alicia Keys and hubby Swizz Beatz welcomed their first baby, a son named Egypt. We're guessing the name had special meaning for Keys, since she once traveled to Egypt for three weeks to escape the stress of her job.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson went global while naming two of his eight children. He and wife Lakiha Spicer have a daughter named Milan and a son named Morocco. Just three months after Morocco's birth, singer Mariah Carey named her son Moroccan, allegedly because she enjoys Moroccan-themed decor.

Last year, hunky actor Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky named their baby girl India Rose. According to the "Thor" star, the name " was just something we both loved - there was no great sort of thought behind it." He added that once their bundle of joy arrived, the name "just seemed to fit."

Perhaps Kim was inspired by her sister Kourtney Kardashian, who named her daughter Penelope Scotland. Last but not least, "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin and ex-wife Kim Basinger named their daughter Ireland. Since Baldwin and wife Hilaria Thomas are expecting a visit from the stork, we'll soon see if he keeps up the naming trend.
