Kim Kardashian's next role is going to be out of this world!
The reality show star is set to play an alien on Seth MacFarlane's animated series, "American Dad." Her extraterrestrial character falls in love with narcissistic alien Roger, who would probably get along pretty great with fellow egomaniac Kanye West -- it's extremely easy to imagine Roger using Kanye's "Hurry up with my damn croissants" line or trying to take credit for inventing leather jogging pants.
Kim's lovesick alien character is going to be furry, and it's hard not to wonder if this physical feature has something to do with a joke that MacFarlane made about the Kardashians during the Oscars. While talking about the movie "Argo," he said this about Ben Affleck's fuzzy face: "First time I saw him with all that dark facial hair I thought, my god, the Kardashians have finally made the jump to film." Hate to break it to you, Seth, but Kim had already starred in "Disaster Movie" and "Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" by the time that you made that joke.
Perhaps Kim Kardashian forgave Seth MacFarlane for calling her hairy because of how cool the animator is with Kanye West. After all, MacFarlane was one of the few entertainers who didn't make a joke about Kanye interrupting Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards. According to the Associated Press, this is how he explained his decision to avoid making a really easy joke about the incident: "I think we've all sort of come around to realize that maybe Kanye was right. Like, now that we're all coming out of the Taylor Swift haze, we're thinking, 'Yes, they probably should have given it to Beyonce.' He was the only one with the (nerve) to say it."
Kanye has also played a rapper named Kenny West on another MacFarlane animated series, "The Cleveland Show." In one of his appearances, West was a member of the hip-hop Illuminati, which also included Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, Questlove, and will.i.am. So since Kanye was willing to work with Seth, perhaps it shouldn't be that surprising that Kim has signed on for "American Dad."
Kanye and Kim might be willing to play animated characters, but it's hard to imagine Kimye ever appearing on "South Park" after Trey Parker and Matt Stone killed off the Kardashians and turned Kanye into a narcissistic "gay fish." No wonder Kim and Kanye are bigger MacFarlane fans.
So are you looking forward to seeing Kim as an alien?
