Kid-Friendly Celebrity Wedding Ideas for Brad and Angie to Copy

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are claiming they're getting married for the kids, so don't be surprised if their wedding ends up being more Chuck E. Cheese than Chez Panisse.

With at least six children on the guest list -- not counting Matt Damon's four daughters and the Affleck girls -- the couple may want to steal some kid-friendly wedding ideas from their celebrity peers.

Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie Titone, for instance, hosted a wedding that was fun for all ages. The ceremony included their two bulldogs, Meatball and Matzo Ball, and the after party featured video games, a basketball hoop and even Krispy Kreme donuts as table favors.

Alicia Silverstone was not "Clueless" when it came to planning her wedding to musician Christopher Jarecki. The couple said their "I dos" barefoot on the beach at Lake Tahoe and sang Beatles songs with their family and friends around a campfire.

You wouldn't call Nicole Richie's wedding to Joel Madden a circus, but it did have an elephant in attendance. The good-luck creature wore a fancy headdress to the wedding, which was held at the estate of Nicole's father Lionel Richie in Beverly Hills. Since the Jolie-Pitt's wedding is sure to be a media circus, they may as well include some animals, too.

Last year's wedding of Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth was mostly a grown-up affair, with pretentious eats like endive salad, chanterelles and garlic and mustard grilled chicken with haricot vert that most kids can't even pronounce. But the "Legally Blonde" star threw a bone to the kids by setting the affair on her Ojai ranch where she raises pigs, goats and chickens (though, apparently, they were not invited to the wedding). To further delight the junior guests (Reese has two children from a former marriage), the perky blonde had a s'mores lounge as a desert alternative to her elegant wedding cake.

Finally, though the couple known as Brangelina are more cosmopolitan than country, they may want to borrow some down home ideas from Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's wedding reception. Dinner was (what else?) a BBQ buffet, with lucky guests chowing down in a barn lit with gas lamps. What's more, Miranda and her bridesmaids eschewed high heels in favor of Durango cowboy boots. What could be cooler to a kid than that?
