It's been a rocky time for Khloe Kardashian Odom, youngest daughter of the late Robert Kardashian. Fans were happy to watch her love story unfold with her bball playing soul mate Lamar Odom on her spin-off series, "Khloe and Lamar." Now it seems as though the E! Network has pulled the plug on the show, signalling that all of the rumored trouble in paradise might have finally come to a head.
Khloe is well-known as the most outspoken Kardashian sister. Viewers appreciate her no holds barred approach to life contrasted with her sweet wifey approach to her marriage with Lamm Lamm. Her show also included her brother Rob, best friend Malika and Lamar's childhood BFF Jamie as castmates. Still, the path hasn't been easy for the Khlo-ster.
In the past year, Khloe has feuded with her sister Kim Kardashian over her doomed marriage to Kris Humphries. Khloe has also had issues with her weight and body image. In addition to that, the curvaceous sister has faced fertility issues as she has not been able to conceive the child she wants. Then, there were her dad's ex-wives who came together to claim that she was not the biological child of the famous O.J. Simpson attorney. Top that off with hubby Lamar's rocky trade from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks.
As basketball lovers know, Lamar's career with the Mavs was short-lived and the former phenom is now faced with an NBA status of inactive. The word on the street is that the cancellation of "Khloe and Lamar" will allow Lamar to return his focus to his career. Hopefully, it's not too late for him to return to his glory days of being a main man on the court.
Kris Jenner manages Lamar's off-court career, as she does with the rest of her family. Khloe and Lamar's unisex fragrance "Unbreakable" seems to be doing well. In fact, if you go to Lamar's site, the cologne is almost more prominent than his basketball stuff. Lamar and Khloe also star in an adorable Wonderful Pistachios' Get Crackin' commercial. Kho-Dash even immortalizes their love with her O.P.I. nail polish named "Khloe Had A Little Lamm Lamm."
Lamar will reportedly still continue to appear on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Is this new move the right way for him to get back into the game that made him rich and famous to begin with? Only time will tell.
So what do you think? Is this a good move? What should Khloe Odom do now? Do you think that this will affect their career? Or are K and L in it for the long run?
Whose relationship do you think is better matched? Khloe and Lamar or Kim and Kanye West?
