Khloe Kardashian attending Maxim's 10th Annual Hot 100 Celebration, Santa Monica, CA on May 13, 2009 …

This Sunday's episode of 'Khloe & Lamar' brought up some tough issues involving friendships! Friends clashed, divided, and resolutions were made thankfully.

Khloe & Malika Split

Being Khloe Kardashian's assistant and best friend is a difficult task for her friend Malika. The besties have been inseparable ever since their high school days. While being colleagues and friends allows them to spend a lot of time together, it also does not allow the not so famous friend to pursue her dreams. Working as a successful friend's assistant has been tough, and it also has cut into many great acting opportunities.

The problem truly reaches its breaking point when a chance at a role pops up and work needs to be done. This results in tension occurring and the bestie telling her celebutante friend that she needs a break! The break leaves the Kardashian sister in shock. She compares it to being "punched in the stomach." I think any person would feel that way is a best friend and confidante flipped out on him/her and they had no idea these feelings existed!

Competing for Lamar

Rob Kardashian, the brother of the famous sisters, feels competitive for Lamar Odom's attention. There seems to be a separation of bros in the episode. On one side is Lamar's best friend and former high school teammate, Jamie. On the other side is his wife's brother. The basketball star is like the brother he never had, especially since a significant father figure was not present in his life.

The clash between the bros becomes very clear during a heated game of one-on-one. Trash talk occurs and the game even gets moderately physical! The jealously is obvious! During a dinner, the basketball star's high school buddy brings up the issue. He is told that he needs to look at what type of family and backgrounds each person grew up in. This determines how each of them functions and deals with people( which is a good point).

In the end, all is well. All besties make up and any competition between the boys is solved! It always seems like there is more of a theme present in each episode of 'Khloe & Lamar' compared to most of the family's other reality shows. The theme was obviously friendship this time.

What do you think? Do you enjoy this show compared to the other shows? Tune in next week at 10/9pm Central time for a new episode!
