In the years since she released her smash hit Warrior in 2012, things haven’t gone so smoothly for Kesha. Her career hangs in the balance while she’s made very little headway in her suit against her former producer and accused rapist Dr. Luke. But Kesha’s taking the narrative back, releasing her first song since 2013’s “Timber” tomorrow.

After tweeting his support for her last year, Zedd offered to record with Kesha, if she wanted. Then, he invited her onstage during his Coachella set where they performed “True Colors.” The official single will be released tomorrow, but you can stream it (for now) here. (For the record, it’s not a Cyndi Lauper cover.)

Here is the pair’s Coachella set:

According to Zedd, “True Colors” is being released with the permission of Kemosabe Records, Dr. Luke’s recording label, which currently has Kesha hostage.

Moving on seems to be the name of the game in the Sebert family these days, as Kesha’s mother Pebe has dropped a countersuit she filed against Dr. Luke after he sued the Seberts for defamation.

“The litigation with Dr. Luke has been a nightmare for Mrs. Sebert and her family,” Sebert’s mother told E! in a statement. “She has decided to move on and find peace and forgiveness in her heart rather than dwelling in the cancerous past of an ongoing lawsuit with no end in sight.”

Sebert had sued Dr. Luke on claims of intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, following the alleged abuse Kesha endured at his hands.

Luke, however, is still moving forward with his defamation suit: “Pebe Sebert’s voluntary withdrawal of all her claims against Dr. Luke is her acknowledgement that her claims are meritless,” his attorney told The Hollywood Reporter. “Dr. Luke’s defamation and other claims continue against Pebe and Kesha Sebert.”
