There's no love lost between Kate Winslet and her latest ex-boyfriend. The Oscar winning actress is the victim of a brutal public tongue lashing courtesy of her ex-boyfriend, Louis Dowler. The male model has been very busy this week blasting his former love for leaving him for Richard Branson's nephew, Ned Rocknroll.
"I don't think Kate behaved well and it is still very raw for me," Dowler told the Daily Mail of his recent split from the actress. "I was in love with her and you can't switch that off overnight. I'm not sure Kate treated me well."
At issue is their breakup which came hot on the heals of the news that the "Titanic" had carried Branson's mother out of a fire at the mogul's island estate. While the star was relishing in the spotlight of her courageous actions, she apparently fell for the nephew, who soon left his own wife for the star.
In deciding to take his case public, Dowler joins a flock of celebrities who have healed their broken hearts with the help of a sympathetic public. Here are a few stars that went public with their lost loves:
Camille Grammer: Don't mess with a woman scorned - especially one with her own reality TV show! Actor Kelsye Grammer learned that lesson the hard way when he opted to leave his wife of thirteen years shortly after she secured a spot on the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". A season of watching the scorned wife try to put on a brave front while her philandering husband shacked up with another woman across the country won the reality star the sympathy of a legion of fans.
Brandi Glanville: Don't mess with a woman with a large Twitter following! That's the lesson that Eddie Cibrian and his new wife LeAnn Rimes should have learned before carrying on an extra-marital affair on the pages of the weekly gossip magazines. With every step in their relationship, Brandi would air her frustrations on the social media site which often led to Twitter wars between herself and Rimes.
Jennifer Aniston: It was the fact that she decided to take the high road and not let lose on her ex-husband Brad Pitt and his new lady Angelina Jolie that won the star oodles of sympathy in 2005. Despite every opportunity to let her wrath out in both TV and print interviews, Jen opted to stay mum on the subject which spoke volumes.
Kris Humphries: He hasn't told his side of the breakup story between him and soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian, but the NBA star is setting it up so he can break his silence at some point in the future. Rather than go away like a good little boy when the reality star filed for divorce, the basketball player filed his own motion for a separation and eventual annulment which would break him from the minds of a non-disclosure agreement in his prenup. We can see a tell all book in his future!
