Model Kate Upton has no trouble finding prom dates -- she just doesn't have time to actually go on them! The Sports Illustrated hottie recently received a totally cute video invite to an L.A. teen's prom, and she responded to the viral vid via Twitter with: "You can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule."

While the supermodel told People she's unsure if she'll actually be able to make the date due to her busy schedule, she acknowledged, "I really appreciated being asked; it made me feel really great!"

Seriously, we hope she can make it. How can anyone turn down a guy who says, "You are the yin to my yang. I'm Jewish, 5'9" on a really good day, and I can't dance. You're Christian, 5'10" and that 'Cat Daddy' video should've won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny!"

As Kate checks her schedule, here are five celebs who got prom invites-and actually went!

Brandy

In 1996, R&B singer Brandy Norwood accepted an invite to the Lower Merion High School prom with an up and coming basketball player named Kobe Bryant. On an episode of MTV's "When I Was 17," the singer said she was at an Essence event when the then-high school athlete asked her to his prom, despite the fact that she didn't even know who he was. Of her time at the Philadelphia-area dance, Brandy said, "I just felt like a normal 17-year-old, it was so much fun, although it was cameras and media there, it still felt normal to be in a school with kids my age. We were dancing; it just felt real. I needed that...I really needed to experience that, and I wouldn't if Kobe never asked me."

Demi Lovato

Fame didn't change Demi Lovato! The pop singer-turned "X Factor" judge made good on a kindergarten promise when it came time for her hometown prom. In 2010, Demi tweeted a pic of her prom date with childhood pal Nolan, along with the caption: "A promise made in kindergarten finally coming true... Prom with Nolan!" She told Zap 2 It, "I was home-schooled all of my years that I would've been in high school, but it's the high school I would've gone to had I stayed in public school, and this is the class I would've graduated with. I'm excited to get to go to prom with one of my best friends. We made a pact together many, many years ago that we'd go to prom together some day." The biggest perk of the date? Demi's then-boyfriend Joe Jonas rented a car for the prom-bound couple! See Demi's prom pic here.

Brooke Shields

The fact that Brooke Shields went to her 1982 Englewood, New Jersey, high school prom isn't a total shocker. (Although we're totally surprised the teen beauty wasn't prom queen!) The actress revealed that her prom date was "Love Boat" star Ted McGinley, her then-beau who was 7 years her senior! Brooke told the New York Post, "We were dating at the time and he said he would fly in from California to be my date. It was just so funny to be posing in prom photo position in a Valentino dress. I didn't say it was Valentino - nobody in high school would have cared."

Rihanna

It may have been a made-for TV prom date, but it was still a prom date! In 2007, pop superstar Rihanna made a boy's dreams come true on the MTV reality series "Once Upon a Prom." RiRi turned up to escort -- and shock -- a dateless teen named Richard for his Jefferson High School prom. You can see Richard and Rihanna's prom pic here.

Justin Bieber

Pop superstar Justin Bieber couldn't make it to fan Cady Eimer's Virginia high school prom, but he didn't let her prom pleas go unnoticed and he did take her on another (better!) date. The teen Belieber heavily campaigned for the "Never Say Never" singer to attend her prom with her via her website, onelessloneyprom. While JB couldn't make that date, he did one better, by inviting Eimer and her sister to be his dates for the Billboard Awards ceremony. (You can see his video invite here.) The result: Two less lonely girls!
