Kate Gosselin has gotten fired -- AGAIN!
The mom of eight was given her walking papers from CouponCabin less than a year after starting a job as a blogger for the couponing website.
"A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago," writes the website founder and CEO Scott Kluth. "Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin. We wish Kate, her family and her support staff all the best."
The former star of TLC's "Kate Plus 8" signed on with the site to highlight her family's shopping adventures and to offer money saving tips for busy families.
With the news of her latest firing, Kate joins a group of celebrities who have been famously fired. Here are some of the stars who have been given their pink slips:
Charlie Sheen: He's one WINNING actor! The star of "Two and a Half Men" learned that everyone can get fired when he declared a publicity war with the series creator in 2011. After months of blasting Chuck Lorre in the press, Sheen was given his walking papers from the hit CBS sitcom. Of his ouster he said, "They fired me, man. I made them $5 billion and gave you guys almost a decade of entertainment and they fired me."
Star Jones: The outspoken lawyer made our jaws drop when she declared on a live episode of "The View" that she would be making her exit after nine seasons on the morning talk fest in 2006. She later declared that the decision to leave the show was not her own and that she had been effectively fired from the show when they decided not to renew her contract for a tenth season. The show did their best to back peddle following the announcement claiming that they were blind sided by her decision to leave. These days the star is back to work in the high profile gig as one of the "Today" show professionals commenting on the latest current events alongside Donny Deutsch and Dr. Nancy Snyderman and even made a guest appearance on "The View" in early 2012.
Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini: Don't mess with Ms. Osborne! That's the lesson these two ladies learned from their stint on the CBS gab-fest "The Talk." After a season of playing nice on-screen, the off-screen drama caused the two ladies not to receive an invitation back to the show for season two. Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler took their places at the table for the next season.
