Kate Gosselin recently got the boot from her latest gig.

It looks like Kate Gosselin is out of work once again. The reality star, who is most famous for her run on the TLC series "Jon & Kate Plus 8," has been canned from her blogging job at CouponCabin. "A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin," said the company CEO in a statement. Those are fairly harsh words, and no specifics have emerged as to the exact cause of the firing. In any case, this is just more bad news for Kate. Last year, TLC finally cancelled its reality relationship with the famous mom. Outside of her TLC fame, finding ways to make money hasn't been easy for the former nurse. Here are a few of the other things that Kate has tried in order to keep up her celebrity lifestyle.

She's tried other TV ventures

In addition to "Jon & Kate Plus 8" and its various spinoffs on TLC, Kate has had several other shots at TV stardom. She famously competed on "Dancing with the Stars," but was booted early in the show's 10th season. She was also briefly involved in a talk show with celebrity chef Paula Deen, but was axed for being too controversial. Kate has served as a guest co-host on "The View" on multiple occasions, most recently in July.

She tried a celebrity cruise

How much money would you pay to go on vacation with Kate? Apparently, the star once thought you'd pay a small fortune. Earlier this year, Kate helped launch a website in which fans could spend thousands of dollars in order to go on a private cruise with her. However, the event was canceled after it became clear that not enough people were willing to spend the large sum of money. "Yes, that event has been canceled," said one of the organizers. "We just didn't get the turnout that we desired and mutually we agreed that if we didn't get it, we would cancel." There is no word on any further attempts for Kate to recruit fellow vacationers.

She's written books

Before taking her job with CouponCabin, Kate used her spare time to write about her life experiences. The star has written a total of three non-fiction books, and they have had varying levels of success. Her first two were both certified bestsellers according to The New York Times, but her fortunes changed in 2010 with her third book "I Just Want You to Know." That book, which was essentially an advice column for her kids, bombed upon its release. To date, there are no future plans for a fourth book.
