"Keeping Up With The Kardashians" could be a full time job! Just when we think you've seen it all from Kim Kardashian's famous reality TV family they spring something else on us.
"Hypnotize" is a classic rap song from the Notorious B.I.G., produced under the tutelage of Sean "Diddy" Combs. We're not sure if Christopher Wallace pictured former Olympian Bruce Jenner bumping butts with his wife to the tune but this is just what has happened. Brooklyn meets Hollywood in the Kardashians' latest scheme.
The entire Kardashian-Jenner clan, lead by momager Kris Jenner, decided to blow off a little steam on a family vacay to the Dominican Republic. One might think that a family that lives in the public eye might want to relax quietly away from the cameras. Not those wacky Kardashians, of course. The entire fam, without Khloe Kardashian Odom and Lamar Odom, recorded their own music video version of Biggie's "Hypnotize" instead. The video scenes take place on a yacht and resort.
The K-Dash video is a mix of high energy hijinks that may leave fans scratching their heads. After all, it's a family playing around on vacation. How bad could it be? Recently, "KUWTK" came under debate as the president discussed whether it was a show he would allow his daughters Sasha and Malia Obama to watch.
Most of the video is pretty harmless. After all, it features young Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Certain scenes are questionable, however. The music video features Kim's backside moving around suggestively in a pool to the music. Scott Disick also slaps the butt of his pregnant baby mama Kourtney Kardashian. Bruce and Kris also get in on the booty slapping action. Kendall and Kylie Kardashian engage in horseplay in bikinis. Rob Kardashian simulates humping.
A small uproar is kicking up on social media sites. Fans and Kardashian-haters are squaring off about the video. Is this just a family having a great time together? Or are there factors about the video that are inappropriate? In the original video Biggie Smalls and Puffy show off the spoils of crass materialism. Is the K-Dash vid any different?
What do you think? Is this more proof of the family's attention-seeking or is everyone just over-reacting? Did the Kardashians know that this video would be controversial?
