Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is one celeb many people love to (figuratively) beat up - mostly for her personal decisions and fashion choices. The latest criticism for the reality star? That the Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy gown she wore to the 2013 Met Gala looked more like a floral couch than a dress.

Some even compared her to Robin Williams' titular character in 1993's "Mrs. Doubtfire."

Tisci doesn't understand the hate.

"People can say what they want," he told Women's Wear Daily. "To me, pregnancy is the most beautiful thing in the world, and when you celebrate something, you give people flowers. I think she looked amazing. She was the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career."

We wouldn't have picked the dress, but she liked it.

"This was Riccardo's vision for me, and it was breathtaking," Kardashian wrote on her blog.

The mom-to-be does a good job of staying quiet amid the criticism, but some of her famous friends - like Tisci - aren't afraid to call out her critics.

Kanye West

Kardashian's boyfriend, Kanye West, knows exactly what Kardashian goes through, so he decided to publicly defend his baby mama during his performance at the Met Gala.

"Kanye telling Kim not to worry what anyone says that she's awesome. Quite touching really," model Coco Rocha wrote on the Vine she posted of his performance.

You have to admit: It's nice that he's defending his girlfriend's honor in public.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is no stranger to public criticism. Maybe that's why she wasn't afraid to publicly defend Kardsahian's pregnancy style earlier this spring.

"I think that women should support each other, especially through pregnancy. It's a difficult time and I think Kim Kardashian looks absolutely beautiful. And we're supposed to gain weight when we're pregnant - that's how God intended it," she told E! News.

Anderson Cooper

CNN host Anderson Cooper has defended Kardashian - albeit a bit sarcastically - on a few occasions.

The first came in June 2011 when he was defending her decision to get a butt x-ray on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" to prove that her assets are all natural.

"I think I speak for the whole world when I say, 'We are so glad too, Kim," Cooper said on his show, "Anderson Cooper: 360."

Then, a few months later, he defended her marriage to Kris Humphries - and subsequent divorce two months later.

"How could you not support a couple whose two day televised wedding on the E exclamation network, cost a reported $10 million and was subsidized by sponsors?" he joked on his show. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that is called the American Dream."
