Justin Bieber isn't the only celeb hockey fan out there!

Could Justin Bieber go pro? As a hockey player that is. The ECHL's AA minor league hockey team - the Bakersfield Condors - offered the singer an amateur tryout contract. Their head coach, Matt O'Dette, released an announcement that said "Very rarely do you see this combination of skill and toughness. We share a common Canadian heritage since we both hail from Ontario. I've scouted some video of him online skating with my hometown team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I think he could provide some elusive speed up front for us. Plus, he's a right-handed shot which we've been looking to add. I think if we paired him on a line with (Robby) Dee and (Peter) Boyd we'd be tough to beat." Well played on the whole marketing ploy, Bakersfield. The Biebs isn't likely going to give up on his pop singer star status for hockey any time soon even if he is a fan of the sport. We're thinking he's more content to sit in the stands with several other singers who are also hockey fans.

Hilary Duff

The singer/actress became a hockey fan after getting involved with her husband, Mike Comrie. He played center for the Pittsburgh Penguins before retiring from the NHL in early 2012 after hip surgery. Before going to the Penguins, Comrie previously played for the Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, New York Islanders, Phoenix Coyotes and Philadelphia Flyers. The couple got married in 2010 and had their baby, Luca, on March 20, 2012.

Carrie Underwood

Like Duff, the stunning singer is married to a pro-hockey player. She married Mike Fisher in July 2010. The center played for the Ottawa Senators since 1999 before being traded to the Nashville Predators in 2011. Not only is Carrie a fan of the game, she also cheers her husband on when he goes to blows on the ice and has to throw some punches.

Neil Young

The legendary singer, who was previously a Toronto Maple Leafs fan and a San Jose Sharks fan, has recently declared his allegiance to the Winnipeg Jets. A video came out in which Young is talking on the phone demanding season tickets, then turns around and says to the camera "Who am I going to root for, the Sharks or the Jets?" then excitedly says "Go Jets!" We have a feeling Sharks fans were less-than-thrilled about the video.
