Jonah Hill called out on Twitter for being ‘a tool’ in run-in with CNN anchor Don Lemon

If you ever happen to run into Jonah Hill, don't expect him to be the same approachable guy he plays in most of his movies! At least, not if CNN anchor Don Lemon's version of an encounter with the "Superbad" actor at a hotel is true.

Lemon, the 46-year-old host of "CNN Newsroom," took to Twitter on Thursday to call out Hill for his behavior. "Said hi to @jonahhill in hotel," Lemon tweeted. "Think he thought i was bellman. Didn't know his name til bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind." When someone else asked Lemon if either he or Hill had been rude, Lemon clarified, writing, "He was a tool."

Apparently, Hill, 28, considered those fightin' words, and he also began angrily typing away. "@DonLemonCNN I said hi what do you want me to do move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn't realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace," Hill wrote in a tweet that's since been deleted, but not before it was seen by news organizations such as ABC.

Of course, there was anything but peace after the "21 Jump Street" star fired off that message. Lemon responded, "@JonahHill Hardly. You're not my type. But I know rude. And u were." Snap!

Hill retorted that, "I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me. Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude," then dropped the issue.

But it was Lemon who had the last word on the issue. "The bellman and I laughed at how self-important you were," Lemon wrote. "Just being honest. Be nice. Stardom is fleeting."
