It's not a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, but Larry David's upcoming HBO movie Clear History is starting to sound like a pretty good placeholder.

David, 65, revealed the cast and plot for his upcoming film, which will include Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson, Bill Hader, Eva Mendes, Danny McBride, Amy Ryan, Michael Keaton and Curb's J.B. Smoove, according to Deadline.

HBO bosses announce new seasons of Girls, Enlightened and Larry David movie

In the film, David stars as Nathan Flomm, a former marketing executive at a start-up electric car company who, after losing a fortune due to an argument with his boss (Hamm), is humiliated for walking away from a 10 percent stake in a now-billion dollar company. Fast-forward 10 years, Nathan's marriage and reputation are ruined and he lives a quiet life in Massachusetts under the name Rolly DaVore. However, when his former boss comes to town, Nathan seeks to get revenge.

David co-wrote the script with Curb Your Enthusiasm writers Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer. Superbad's Greg Mottola, who recently directed several episodes of The Newsroom, will helm the movie.
