Jenny McCarthy's debut on "The View" had her mixing business with pleasure when she sat down with her new boyfriend, "Blue Bloods" star Donnie Wahlberg. Wahlberg was the very first guest on the show's premiere episode, which also marked his lady love's first official day as a co-host on the ABC daily chatfest.

Earlier this year, Wahlberg made a steamy pit stop on McCarthy's late night VH1 talk show, which had the pair talking dirty while sucking on red lollipops.

In a blog post for Chicago Splash she wrote of the impromptu exchange: "Let's just say we visually give '50 Shades of Grey' a run for its money. It gets steamy. I mean like really steamy. Being turned on by a guy is always fun but to have it legitimately happen to you on TV is to be turned back into a 12-year-old. By the time we get into the groundbreaking interview, my face turns fifty shades of RED."

So did these two keep things clean for the daytime scene?

After introducing the former New Kid on the Block member as a guy who "has amazing taste in women," McCarthy showed off her "View" opening day dressing room, which was packed with balloons and flowers from her new beau. (Awwww!)

Later, when Barbara Walters asked the actor about his chain of burger joints, McCarthy chimed in with: "I must say his buns are quite delicious."

And in a "Newlywed Game"-style segment, fellow co-host Sherri Shepherd set out to find out how well the newbie couple knows each other. Wahlberg joked McCarthy studied to become "a naked nurse" in college, while she said his butt is her favorite body part.

While things went smoothly for her "View" debut, McCarthy is known for her sometimes-controversial interviews.

In an interview on Howard Stern's radio show last year, the former Playboy model slammed her ex, Jim Carrey, accusing the actor of turning his back on her autistic son after they split.

"I've tried to ask [Jim] numerous times [to see Evan], because my son still asks," she revealed. "I haven't [reached out directly]. I think that sometimes people need to take a real break from each other, but as a mother, you just hope when you have a relationship with someone, it has nothing to do with the child when you break up. I tell [Evan] that someday you'll cross paths, meet again… [but] it's hard. He's been in therapy. It's a process, he's working on it."

But Carrey fired back with a statement that said: "I will always do what I believe is in the best interest of Evan's well being. It's unfortunate that Evan's privacy is not being considered. I love Evan very much and will miss him always."

And during a 2007 appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," McCarthy made waves with her anti-vaccination stance. After revealing that she researched autism online, McCarthy dished on her son's diet of gluten-free foods, B-12 shots and vitamins, and claimed he was "cured."

But what about her credentials?

"The University of Google is where I got my degree from," she told Oprah. "My science is named Evan."
