Jenny McCarthy will be on the cover of Playboy once again. The 39-year-old actress, who had already posed for the magazine six times in the past, wanted to do so once more before her 40th birthday later this year. Thanks to an eight-page spread, she has reached that goal and will grace the cover of the upcoming issue. "I'm really proud of it," says the blonde beauty of her latest modeling effort. "The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine." Though many celebrities have appeared in the popular men's magazine since it began in the 1950s, it hasn't been as common in recent years. Still, several famous women have shown up in the pages of Playboy in the last decade. Here is a look at three women who prove that a suggestive photo shoot can still be trendy.
The troubled actress is still working on her latest comeback, and an appearance in Playboy has already been a part of it. LiLo accepted a $1 million payday to appear on the cover of the first issue of 2012, and cited one of the most famous Playmates in history as the reason for her inspiration. "Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature," Lindsay said in an interview with the magazine. "I think Marilyn Monroe said that, and I agree with her."
The "Dancing with the Stars" beauty appeared on the cover of the May 2011 issue, and earned a ringing endorsement from Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. The silver-haired icon happily promoted her appearance in the magazine by announcing it on Twitter. Though many wondered if the pictorial would hurt her image on the popular dance show, she has managed to continue on without any issues. Prior to her appearance in the magazine, Karina previously posed nude as part of a campaign to promote PETA.
While she was married to Charlie Sheen in 2004, the beautiful actress seized the day and posed for the magazine just a few months after becoming a mom for the first time. As it turns out, it was her former husband that persuaded her to shed her clothes for the world to see. "He was very supportive," she said when talking about the photo shoot. "Charlie's been a Playboy fan for years." According to Denise, Charlie had plenty of input in choosing the final photos.Note: This was written by a Yahoo! contributor. Join the Yahoo!
