Jenny McCarthy is 40 and still rocking her sexy side!
The celebrity mom is showing off her sexier than ever body on the cover of the new issue of Shape magazine. To keep herself magazine cover ready, the actress dedicates herself to doing yoga twice a week and running three to five times a week. In the accompanying article the actress gives away her secret over keeping exercise a priority in her life, "You JUST GOTTA DO IT!"
After celebrating her 40th birthday last month, McCarthy has joined an exclusive collection of stars who are redefining what it means to be 40 in Hollywood. They are no longer happy to be relegated to the roles of mom or grandma on-screen. They strut their stuff down the red carpet stealing the attention from their younger twenty-something counterparts. Here are some of the sexy moms rocking their forties:
Jennifer Garner: She may no longer be sporting the skin-tight spy gear she wore on "Alias," but Jen is one of the hottest moms in Hollywood. With roles in such films as "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" and "Arthur," this mom-of-three has become part of a Hollywood super-couple along with her husband Ben Affleck. Next she'll be starring in the upcoming film, "The Dallas Buyer's Club" alongside hot dad Matthew McConaughey. Jennifer celebrated her 40th birthday in April.
Jennie Garth: The year has been full of ups and downs for the "90210" actress who turned 40 in April. She returned to television in the reality series, "Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country," which followed the star as she leaves her life in Hollywood to embrace a slower paced life in the country. Unfortunately at the same time her decade-long marriage to actor Peter Facinelli came to an end just two weeks before her big birthday. These days she's putting the pieces back together and hitting the dating market as one of the hottest single mom's in Hollywood.
Gwyneth Paltrow: She's an Oscar-winning actress, an amazing singer, a cookbook author and an online powerhouse. Amidst it all, she somehow manages to raise two adorable children, film an occasional movie or two, and look fashionable. Of turning 40 in September she said, "The morning of my 40th birthday, my children and husband woke me up with hugs and gifts, and I proceeded to have the best week of my life. I feel really happy being 40, now that I'm on the other side of it. There was definitely some uncomfortable anticipation. But I'm amazed at what I've been able to accomplish, that I've maintained my important relationships and have such incredible women friends, that I have two funny, beautiful children who can give me a real life. In a way, I feel like no one should make big life decisions until 40. It's when it all starts to settle and become clear."
