Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto's extreme weight loss for "Dallas Buyers Club" brought out Jennifer Garner's "big mama."
Access Hollywood caught up Jennifer at the premiere of her latest film on Thursday in LA, where she explained what is was like working alongside the two actors following their extreme physical transformation.
"It was shocking and upsetting and really hard to see," she told Access , of the film where Matthew plays an HIV positive man fighting to get proper care.
Matthew, who lost 50 pounds for the role, and Jared, who also dropped some serious pounds, didn't let the harsh weight loss affect their work.
"They never complained, neither one of them. They were completely focused and ready to go and their performances are just remarkable, really unbelievable," the actress continued.
Now that both of her co-stars are back to their regular weight, Jennifer can breathe a sigh of relief - and put down the carbs.
"[It's] such a relief. The big mama in me was so happy," she told Access . "I wanted to feed them a bowl of pasta!"
"Dallas Buyers Club" hit theaters on November 1.
