Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli are calling it quits after 11 years of marriage. The 39-year-old actress played Kelly Taylor on the TV series "Beverly Hills, 90210," from 1990 to 2000, and married her husband in 2001.
The handsome 38-year-old actor is a co-star in the "Twilight" movie franchise, and you might have spotted him in the audience during season five of "Dancing With the Stars," as he passionately cheered for his wife on the dance floor.
The couple have three children together, a son and two daughters, 14-year-old Luca, 9-year-old Lola and 5-year-old Fiona. In a statement on Tuesday they say they have decided to end their marriage but share "the same deep love and devotion to our children."
The couple follow a long line of splits among celebs with children. Last summer Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced they were divorcing after seven years and twin babies. The diva gave birth to a boy and a girl, Max and Emme, in February of 2008. Within months of the pair's separation, the singer was spotted on the beach in Kauai with her new boy toy, 24-year-old Casper Smart, and her children in tow.
In December, a source told US Weekly that Anthony was livid after seeing the photos and remarked, "He wants to make sure Jennifer suffers because she's having fun with someone new, and he knows this will hurt her on the deepest level."
Just before last Christmas, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson's divorce was finalized. The couple separated in February of 2011 after almost three years of marriage and are said to share custody of three-year-old son, Max. Both the musician and the actress/singer have reportedly moved on.
The primary lyricist and bassist for Fall Out Boy went public with supermodel girlfriend Meagan Camper last September, and the actress began seeing actor Vincent Piazza, best known for his role in "Boardwalk Empire."
