Jay-Z has refuted reports that Beyonce is pregnant with her second child, according to a radio program director for Hot 97 in New York City, who claimed he received an e-mail from the hip-hop mogul.
Ebro Darden, who works for the station, said he sent Jay-Z a congratulatory e-mail, following a report last week that indicated Beyonce is carrying her second child.
While speaking on the station's "The Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show with K Foxx," on Monday, Darden said Jay-Z replied and told him the news was false.
Asked to quote what Jay-Z actually wrote in the e-mail back to him, Darden said, "'It's not true. The news is worse than blogs.'"
The New York Post's Page Six claimed earlier this month that multiple sources told the paper that Beyonce was expecting.
Speculation heated up when Beyonce canceled a show last week in Belgium under doctor's orders.
A rep for Jay-Z did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Access Hollywood on Monday about Darden's claim he received an e-mail from the rap superstar.
