Jay-Z and Beyonce celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in true jetsetting fashion! The superstar couple hit the road and headed to Cuba for their big day. The couple were married in a super secret wedding ceremony in April 2008.

The musical duo took to the streets of Old Havana alongside her mother, Tina, to take in the sights and enjoy the local flavor. Travel to the communist country is typically restricted by the U.S. government, but the style icons are allowed to visit under exemptions allowed for artists, journalists and educators.

Which other celebrities have visited the forbidden nation?

Clive Owen: The actor prepared for his role in the film, "Hemingway and Gellhorn," with a trip to the tropical island. During his trip the star was given access to many of Hemingway's favorite haunts including the home he lived in while residing on the island. The research paid off and the actor earned an Emmy nomination for his role in the film.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel tried out her hat as a reporter when she visited with Fidel Castro in Cuba in 2007. The strutter was in the country on behalf of Britain's GQ magazine. During the trip she visited a housing project built by Venezuela to house Cuban oil refinery workers.

Jim Belushi: The "SNL" funnyman headed to Cuba to hold court as the master of ceremonies at Cuba's Cigar Festival last year. During his visit, he headlined an auction of cigars to businessmen around the world which raked in more than $1 million.

Jack Nicholson: The three time Oscar winner visited the Caribbean island and reportedly met with Fidel Castro during a trip in 1998. While he has kept the reasons behind his trip under wraps for years, the star took the time to meet with members of the Cuban film industry, visited a cigar factory and spent an evening at a jazz club.
