James Franco is dating "Pretty Little Liars" star, Ashley Benson.

Is James Franco dating one of his co-stars? According to reports, that might be the case. The actor was recently spotted with Ashley Benson, his co-star in the upcoming film "Spring Breakers." Sources are saying that James has really hit it off with the actress. ''They have been seeing each other for a little over a month, but things are going well,'' said one source. James isn't known for being a serial dater. He recently ended a five-year relationship with former flame Ahna O'Reilly. News of his budding romance is just the latest bit of news involving James in 2012. Here is a look at some of the other things he has been up to lately.

He's got several movies lined up

As an actor, James has never been busier. In addition to his role in "Spring Breakers," he has a few other movies lined up. The biggest might be the highly anticipated 3D film "Oz: The Great and Powerful," which reunites him with "Spider-Man" director Sam Raimi. After that, he will team with Jonah Hill and Brad Pitt for the movie "True Story." He is also planning to direct and star in the movie "Child of God," based on a book by Cormac McCarthy.

He's involved in a lawsuit

James's well-documented return to college didn't come without controversy. In September, the actor revealed that a former professor has filed a defamation lawsuit against him. The fired professor claims that Franco earned a poor grade because he failed to attend his class. "Whoever was in Clint Eastwood's chair at the Republican National Convention was more present than Mr. Franco was in my classes," said the teacher, who also claimed that James only passed classes because of his celebrity status. Before the lawsuit was filed, the actor made several claims that the professor was a bad teacher.

He'll be getting a star on the Walk of Fame

This past June, James learned that he will be one of several stars to be honored with a spot on the prestigious Walk of Fame. His little place in history will come in 2013, and he will have to fork over about $30,000 for the honor. Still, that's a small price to pay to be counted among the Hollywood elite for the rest of time. James will be honored along with more than 20 others, including Ron Howard and Helen Mirren.
