Jackie Chan may not be getting a lot of action in the future.

While promoting his latest film in Cannes, Chan told reporters that Chinese Zodiac will be his final action movie. "I tell you, I am not young anymore," he said, according to US Weekly. "I am really, really tired."

Chan is in fact 58 and is well-known for performing his own stunts in such films as the Rush Hour franchise. He even holds the Guinness World Record for the most stunts by a living actor. "The world is too violent now. It's a dilemma because I like action, but I don't like the violence."

Still, Chan isn't planning to leave the filmmaking business entirely. He just wants to focus more on acting than taking down the bad guys. "I don't just want to be an action star, I want to be a true actor," he said. "I want to be an Asian Robert De Niro. I want to get rid of my image. So, for the last 10 years I've done other films like The Karate Kid, where I'd rather play an old man. I want the audience to know I'm not just about fighting or comedy, also I can act."

Will you miss Jackie Chan, action man? Would you still watch him for his acting?
