Jack Osbourne is a married man! The son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne tied the knot over the weekend with his fiance, Lisa Stelly. The news of the nuptials caps off a turbulent year for the star who has welcomed his first child and been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
The couple skipped all the Hollywood hoopla for their big day and opted to head for Hawaii to get hitched in an intimate Hawaiian ceremony. The couple has been dating since April 2011. The entire Osbourne clan is in the islands to help celebrate mama Sharon's big 60th birthday. The star tweeted over the weekend, "Last weekend of being 59 and I'm having a huge celebration with family and friends. Not going to be sober until Wednesday. I'll be Mai tai'd out until then."
With her decision to stick by her man despite his health woes, Lisa joins an exclusive group of stars who have stood by their partner in sickness and in health. Here are some of the stars who stood by their loves:
Loni Anderson: The actress put her own career on hold to help nurse her then-boyfriend, Burt Reynolds, back to health after he broke his jaw after being hit in the head with a chair while working on the movie "City Heat" with Clint Eastwood in 1983. During his recovery, the actor turned to painkillers and ultimately became addicted to the sleeping aid Halcion. He later revealed that he attempted to quit the drug cold turkey and was in a coma for several hours. Through it all, his leading lady stood by her man nursing him back to health. The couple ultimately split in 1993.
Ryan O'Neal: His on-again / off-again relationship with Farrah Fawcett lasted nearly three decades and resulted in one son, Redmond. Despite their ups and downs, the "Charlie's Angels" star died in her beloveds arms in 2009 following a battle with anal cancer. Despite splitting in 1997, the couple reunited a year before she was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. "I stayed as close to her as I could," he says of his decision to stand by his longtime love. "And she needed me."
Bill Rancic: His relationship with wife Giuliana was made for reality television from the moment they met on the red carpet through their public battle with infertility. Every moment was captured for the world to watch on the Style network show, "Giuliana and Bill." Despite watching their ups and downs, viewers were shocked when the couple were faced with the news of Giuliana's early stage breast cancer diagnosis while filming the fifth season of the reality show. Good news would soon follow as she regained her health and they went on to welcome son Edward Duke Rancic on August 29, 2012 via a gestational surrogate.
