What's the first thing on your mind after you get married? If you're Jack Osbourne, it's saving a drowning woman. The reality star and a friend leap to the aide of a woman struggling in water off the coast of Hawaii, according to a tweet by new wife Lisa Stelly.

''Really proud of Jack and his friend Tyler who saved a woman on the beach yesterday who'd had a heart attack and drown. They resuscitated her until the ambulance came. We just found out she's in a stable condition! Awesome! (sic)," she tweeted.

An impressive feat for anyone, but especially so for Osbourne: He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis earlier this year. Not that he lets it get him down , though.

Ultimately that is the toughest thing with this disease that I'm learning, one minute you can be fine, and the next I went blind in my right eye. It's a completely unpredictable disease," he said earlier this year of the challenges.

Osbourne now joins a club of other considerate celebs who jump to the aid of others whenever possible.

Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling is pretty much every woman's fantasy man, thanks to his good looks and do-gooder ways. Gosling first showed off his nice guys ways in summer 2011 by breaking up a fight in New York City. The whole thing was caught on tape and quickly went viral.

He came to the rescue again in April 2012. The actor pulled a woman out of the path of an oncoming car, likely saving her life.

"I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened," British journalist Laurie Penny tweeted, later adding, "I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi."

Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise has gained quite a reputation over the years for helping people in their times of need. He's pulled multiple people from car accidents - including one woman who didn't have insurance. The toothy actor later paid for her $7,000 in medical bills.

The newly divorced actor also pulled two boys from certain crushing at a movie premiere in 1996.

Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsey might only play a doctor on television, but he ended up being a real-life hero when he rescued a teen who crashed his car outside the actor's home.

"I was scared for my life. I was upside down," Weston Massett told ABC after the accident. He didn't remember much from the accident, though he did remember recognizing McDreamy.

"Are you famous?" Masset asked. "Yeah, I'm a doctor," Dempsey deadpanned back.

All that onscreen doctoring has to count for something, right?
