Hulu is expanding its slate of original programming with new series from Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers and Adrian Grenier, the online video site announced during its upfront presentations Thursday.

Meyers is behind The Awesomes, an animated show produced by Michael Shoemaker (SNL, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), which follows an unassuming superhero who battles diabolical villains — the paparazzi. The series is set to launch in 2013.

Don't Quit Your Daydream, from Entourage alum Grenier, gives musicians a second chance at stardom by pairing them with famous artists.

Hulu also greenlighted Flow, a series that chronicles a man's quest for justice after being framed for a crime he didn't commit. We Got Next from Kenya Barris (Are We There Yet?), Hale Rothstein (Everybody Hates Chris), and Danny Leiner (The Office) follows four unlikely friends who butt heads on the basketball court and in everyday life.

Coming this summer is Up To Speed, an unscripted series about tour guide Timothy Levitch, who visits lesser-acknowledged attractions in major cities like New York and San Francisco.

Hulu's previously launched programs include Morgan Spurlock's documentary series A Day in the Life, which returned for a second season in March, and the political drama Battleground, which launched in February.
