Hulk Hogan threatens to sue website for posting his sex tape; his ex-wife calls it ‘twisted’

Sex tapes may have worked wonders for the careers of Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, but Hulk Hogan wants his to stay under the covers. The pro wrestler-turned-reality star has fired off a cease-and-desist letter against Gawker.com after the site posted a grainy 90-second clip of a 30-minute sex tape (click here to watch it) purported to be Hogan (real name: Terry Bollea) and Heather Clem, the ex-wife of Hogan’s best friend, radio disc jockey Bubba the Love Sponge. If Gawker does not comply with the request, Hogan plans to sue.

"This tape was made secretly without Hulk's knowledge or permission,” Hogan’s lawyer David R. Houston tells TMZ. “We are going to do everything in our power to figure out who did it. Anyone displaying the tape will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law."

It doesn’t appear that Hogan, 59, was aware he was being taped. The video starts off with Hogan, Clem, and an off-camera man (who some believe is Bubba the Love Sponge) making small talk. "You guys do your thing," the man tells them before exiting the room. "I'll be in the office if you need me." The two then get down to business, engaging in both oral sex and intercourse – and yes, they used a condom. At one point, the action gets interrupted when Hogan’s phone rings (the ring tone being his daughter Brooke’s song, “About Us”). Hogan looks to see who’s calling and retorts, “F--k no,” and returns to the naked woman in bed.

After the deed is done, Clem heads to the bathroom as Hogan lies on the bed and loudly exhales, “Oh my god, can't believe I have to drive back home. F--k." He then explains he has to go meet his son Nick, whose girlfriend’s twin sister wants to get together with the elder Hogan if it’s true that he’s getting a divorce. It’s unclear which marriage he’s referencing. Hogan, who divorced first wife Linda in 2007, has been with Jennifer McDaniel since early 2008 (the two married in November 2010). His son Nick, now 22, was in prison (reckless driving involving serious bodily injury charge) for eight months until October 2008, so presumably it was made after then. The existence of the sex tape was first reported by TMZ in April of this year.

On his way out of the room, Hogan tells Clem to “be cool” and “you’re awesome.”

Although the interaction between Hogan and Clem appears to be very polite and cordial, his ex-wife sees it as anything but. Linda Hogan – who was arrested for suspicion of DUI in Malibu on Thursday morning – tells Radar Online that she thinks the sex tape is “a little twisted.” Still, she adds, “I wasn't really shocked about it."
