The Corrections is incorrect for HBO.

The network will not be bringing the star-studded adaptation of Jonathan Franzen's book to life, TVLine.com reports.

According to the site, the cable network decided not to move forward with the series from director Noah Baumbach and Scott Rudin after viewing the pilot. Starring Ewan McGregor, Dianne Wiest and Chris Cooper, The Corrections revolves around a troubled elderly Midwestern couple (Cooper and Wiest) and their three children as they trace their lives from the mid-20th century to their last Christmas together at turn of the millennium.

This isn't the first project scrapped by HBO this year. Doug Ellin's Da Brick and 40 pilots were also on the chopping block, while The Viagra Diaries' future became uncertain after Goldie Hawn exited the project.
