Happy Gilmore's Christopher McDonald and Airplane!'s Julie Hagerty will guest-star on Happy Endings as Alex and Jane's parents, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
The pair will appear in the sixth episode of the upcoming third season, in which Jane (Eliza Coupe) tries to find Serbian-themed jokes for her tough-to-please dad's birthday party. (Surely, she could use "The Kerkovich Way" to trick him into liking them.)

McDonald is best known as Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore and most recently starred on Harry's Law. He's also recurred on Boardwalk Empire and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Hagerty made her feature film debut in the parody classic Airplane! as stewardess Elaine and reprised the role in the sequel. Her other credits include Lost in America and guest appearances on Malcolm in the Middle and CSI.
Season 3 of Happy Endings premieres Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 9/8c on ABC.
