Gwyneth Paltrow makes plenty of ridiculous suggestion via her Goop email newsletter, but the latest definitely takes the cake.

"Back by popular request, here is our third annual Spring fashion edit of Net-a-Porter," the mom of Apple and Moses wrote in the post. "Find inspiration for outfits for all aspects of your busy life. Love, GP."

Great, she's giving us affordable suggestions for spring fashion, right? Not so fast: The eight different looks modeled by Paltrow - including pieces by Valentino, Rag & Bone and Lanvin - equal a staggering $32,182.

That's not all, though: The "essentials" not photographed equaled a staggering $450,000! That's about 10 times more than the average household income in the United States - not exactly "affordable."

Basically, we just laugh and shake our heads every time the blonde actress recommends something to us. And, sadly, she does it often.

Paltrow's Restrictive Elimination Diet

Paltrow also just released a new cookbook - "It's All Good" - that describes the restrictive "elimination" diet she adopted after finding out about her vitamin B deficiency.

And what did she eliminate? Pretty much everything, including coffee, eggs, sugar, shellfish, potatoes, wheat and meat. She also forces the diet on her kids, too.

"Sometimes when my family is not eating pasta, bread or processed grains like white rice, we're left with that specific hunger that comes with avoiding carbs," she wrote in the book.

The problem? People - especially children - need carbs for proper brain function. Not good, Gwynnie.

Paltrow's $425 "Cleanse"

Before the elimination diet, Paltrow recommended a 21-day "cleanse" endorsed by one of her doctors.

"I've used Clean in the past with great results, losing a few pounds and kick-starting a healthier and more energetic New Year," she wrote of the cleanse that includes fistfuls of supplements and pricey shakes.

Paltrow Essential Exercise Routine

Gwyneth Paltrow has a great body - and she has celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson to thank for that.

"It did such wonders for my life, my confidence, my sex life, everything," Paltrow told Redbook of the " Metamorphosis " trainer's workout plan.

The problem? Anderson touts an - you guessed it - extreme workout plan that requires three hours of exercise a day. That's not necessarily a ton of exercise, but it's dangerous when paired with Anderson's 700-calorie-a-day diet.

One woman even wrote about experiencing dizziness and blackouts on the diet. She also developed a complex about her weight and measurements since Anderson recommends weighing every day.

"My skin is terrible and my nails are flaking and weak. And -- how can I put this -- my system has become, shall we say, somewhat sluggish. Normally I'm as regular as clockwork. Not any more," writer Rebecca Wilcox wrote for the U.K. Daily Mail in 2011.
