Glee's Jenna Ushkowitz will take Gleeks behind the scenes of the hit show with her upcoming first book, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Choosing Glee will take a closer look at Ushkowitz's rise to fame and inspirational approach to life. "People ask me, 'How did you get here?' Well, I learned how to fight for what I want," the 26-year-old actress says. "I learned to focus and work hard and not give up. I learned that every obstacle is really an opportunity."

Adopted as a baby and raised in Long Island, Ushkowitz has been performing since she was three. She appeared in the 1996 Broadway production of The King and I and served as an understudy in Spring Awakening, which also starred her future Glee co-stars Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff. Her book will include stories from her time on the Great White Way and also describe life on the set of Glee. "My goal is for you to walk away from this book looking at the world differently than when you started. It's about how to have, do and be anything you want," she says.

Ushkowitz is just the latest Glee cast member-turned-author. Jane Lynch's autobiography, Happy Accidents, hit stores in September and Chris Colfer's young adult novel, The Land of Stories, is due out July 17.
