So fun and festive! Melissa picked out and styled cute winter outfits for the kids, as well as looks for new and expecting moms. My daughter got to wear a pretty teal corduroy dress paired with white furry boots and hat and a white furry purse shaped like a bear. (which I ended up buying for her, it was so cute and she loved it so much!)
After the kids were dressed, they all practiced and took a few turns on the runway. I would never push my daughter into something like this and honestly, I wasn't sure she would walk on the runway by herself, but she was having fun and everyone got into the festive spirit as a DJ played fun Christmas songs.
There were several activities lined up for the kids to keep them entertained. All of us got to take a private ride on the popular Grove Trolley, which made a stop at Santa's cottage for a personal visit with Santa himself!
Afterwards, it was back to the store where kiddie manicures were on hand, as well as a candy bar and arts and crafts table. Then it was show time. Melissa was the MC and all the children did a great job...some of the boys slid along the runway like future rock stars. My daughter got up there all by herself...she even did a wave at the end of the runway. I was so proud of her just for having the guts to get up there. Melissa and her Gap and Grove team did a great job of putting together a fun and memorable day for everyone. Well done!
