George Clooney

George Clooney is quite the considerate diner. The actor - who was out with friends in Germany - paid for a businessman's dinner because he was worried his table was too loud and obnoxious.

"That's not true at all," the man told German newspaper Bild of Clooney and his pals. "They had behaved in a very cultivated manner. I was stunned."

The man didn't even get a chance to thank his famous benefactor: Clooney ducked out before the man realized his $134.66 bill was paid.

Clooney is hardly the first - or the last - celeb to use their ample paychecks to help others.

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen has been quite generous lately. The "Anger Management" star first gave $100,000 to Lindsay Lohan to help her pay for her outstanding tax debt. Then, he donated another $100,000 to help a Hermosa Beach, Calif., girl battling cancer.

His most recent gift? A check for $12,000 to the family of photographer Chris Guerra to help cover his funeral. The paparazzo was killed in early January while trying to track down Justin Bieber.

"A tragic incident like this erases the line between the photographer and the subject. It's an unforgiving moment that begs us all to be human and work as one to prevent this in the future," the actor told TMZ in a statement.

Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise might be a lot of things, but he's definitely one thing: Nice to his fans. The actor once helped a woman involved in a hit-and-run accident by taking her to the hospital. The then paid her $7,000 emergency room bill himself.

Chad Ochocinco Johnson

Former NFL star Chad Ochocinco Johnson hasn't always been on his best behavior, but he was last year when he treated 200 fans to dinner in Harlem.

"Dinner in NY tonight --> 1st 200 people at Sylvia's Restaurant by 7 pm in Harlem," he tweeted in March 2012. "Leave ya money/credit cards at home. I got you this time."

His fans - and the restaurant owners - were pleased with the results. For Ochocinco, the best part was getting to meet new "friends."

"Now I've 200 new friends, even better 200 new friends have my phone number," he tweeted afterward "Now that s*** is #Epic or #Crazy."

A little of both, Chad.

Do you appreciate it when celebrities are generous with their money?
