Gary Busey Files for Bankruptcy
Gary Busey has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The veteran star says he has less than $50,000 to his name, according to court documents obtained by ET.
The wild-eyed 67-year-old actor, who starred in such films as Lethal Weapon, Point Break and The Buddy Holly Story before ultimately going the reality TV route, owes between $500,000 and $1,000,000 in various liabilities, primarily consumer debts, according to the papers. Among the entities listed that Busey owes money to is Carla Loeffler, a woman who sued him for allegedly attacking her at a Tulsa airport last May.
Busey's recent reality credits include Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, Celebrity Wife Swap and The Apprentice.
