The series, which stars Paul Scheer, Mark Duplass and Nick Kroll, has been averaging 1.7 million viewers in its third season, and featured guest stars including Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman and Eliza Dushku.

"We are thrilled to do more shows with a cast that makes us laugh hard every day, on a network that actually lets us put those jokes on air," said the Schaffers. "In the words of Taco: The League on FX on Thursday nights is a law, like water or dinosaurs."

Production on the 13-episode fourth season will begin in the summer for a fall 2012 premiere.
