Bystanders in New York’s Times Square were treated to a raucous display on Thursday, when a costumed street performer dressed as Spider-Man roughed up a man in front of a Toys ‘R’ Us store.
During the incident, which was captured on video, the pretend web-slinger wrestled the man to the ground and put him in a headlock, landing a few kicks and punches for good measure.

Witness Geoff Goldberg told the New York Daily News that the recipient of the smackdown was a known heckler who’s made a habit of “harassing” the street performers.
“The guy was harassing a number of performers, other costumed folks,” Goldberg said. “They’ve notoriously had issues with him in the past.”
According to the New York Daily News, there were no immediate reports of arrests as a result of the tussle.
