Days after Beyoncé's highly anticipated documentary Life Is But a Dream grabbed 1.8 million viewers for HBO, MTV is turning the cameras on another of pop's biggest names: Ke$ha.

Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life will debut on Tuesday, April 23 at 11/10c and chronicles the last two years in the career of the "Tik Tok" singer. Shot by her brother, Lagan Serbert, the reality series follows the victories and hurdles in both Ke$ha's career and personal life as she records an album and tours the world. Viewers will get behind-the-scenes access into some of the most intimate moments of her life, including her family relationships and search for love, as well as the emotional and physical changes caused by fame.

Serbert will serve as an executive producer on the project, along with Jack Rovner, Ken Levitan, Lagan, and Dr. LUKE, the producer behind some of Ke$ha's biggest hits including "Your Love Is My Drug," "We R Who We R" and "Die Young." Tony DiSanto and Liz Gately, the minds behind MTV's wildly successful docu-series Laguna Beach and The Hills, will also executive-produce Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life. The series will also debut on MTV's international channels sometime this spring.

Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life also follows in the footsteps of MTV's 2008 Britney Spears documentary For the Record, which followed her post-meltdown career comeback.
