Exclusive: Becki Newton's Real-Life Husband Joins The Goodwin Games

Becki Newton's real-life hubby is heading to her new Fox comedy.

Chris Diamantopoulos has landed a guest-starring role on The Goodwin Games, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

The series stars Newton, TJ Miller and Scott Foley as three siblings who reconnect following their father's death. He leaves them his vast fortune — but only if they agree to his unusual terms.

Diamantopoulos, who has the potential to recur, will play Chad Morrow, a beloved and charismatic doctor who is local in the Goodwins' hometown. Chad will be a romantic rival for Jimmy (Miller) and a professional rival for Henry (Foley).

The 37-year-old actor, whose credits include The Three Stooges, The Starter Wife, Up All Night and 24, will not have any one-on-one scenes with his wife, but their characters will cross paths.

The Goodwin Games premieres midseason on Fox.
