"There were people who incorporated melody before me,” said Drake in an interview in The Jewish Chronicle, “but I would deem myself the first person to successfully rap and sing." Chris clearly raps and sings on many of his hit records, but Drake dismisses that by the rapper has simply "incorporated melody" along with other notable icons such as Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliot and Cee-Lo Green.
