Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner have stayed mum as of late while rumors swirled of their split, but last night Brody himself cleared the air once and for all, refuting the gossip with a declaration of undying love for his lady A.

"It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! Stories," Brody fumed. "Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her"

Avril quickly RT'd the tweet, adding "luv u 2!!! @BrodyJenner."

Well I guess that settles that. Don't believe everything you hear.
